Ero aphana, famiglia Mimetidae, è un ragno che si nutre di altri ragni, e li va a predare proprio nella loro ragnatela, o almeno sul bordo. Questo aveva predato un piccolo Tetragnatha, e si era spinto quasi al centro della tela. Le dimensioni della scena si possono valutare dal confronto con il filo spinato.

Nella prima foto un altro Ero aphana in caccia.
